VIDEO KILLED THE RADIO STAR

Well, did it? Really?

Nah- I don’t think so, but it made a cool song anyway.

HOWEVER, video really is king, more now than ever.

If you pop a video on your website you get more clicks than bunnies in a hutch- it’s true. If you don’t have video content on your website you are losing- because everyone else who has is, well, WINNING.

It’s not difficult to make a video- we have all kinds of gadgetry at our disposal and YouTube and Vimeo are making more stars than ever. Although I won’t ever understand those make up tutorials- EVER.

But, if you want a GREAT company video, you’ll need more than an iPhone and a mate who knows how to edit movies at home- you need a production company to get one made for you. It doesn’t need to be massively fancy with Hollywood type sets and celebrity appearances- just something that displays to your audience who you are, what you do and why they should come to YOU rather than anywhere else.

And if you have a video, it’s likely you’ll need a brilliant voiceover to bring the whole thing together- and there’s where people like ME come into play.

Choosing a voiceover for your company or corporate video is as important as what’s on screen- it needs to relate to your audience, be clear and easily understandable, it needs to be relatable and deliver information in an approachable, honest way.

I love voicing company videos- I feel part of the company message, the call to action, the ‘imparter’ of useful information and brand ambassador.

So whether you need a video to go on your website, for a product launch, an internal training tool or company event, do get in touch- I’d love to help bring your brand to life.

And on that nugget of useful information, I shall go back to my YouTube make up tutorials and find out if I can indeed achieve ‘the smoky eye’ without looking like a drag queen.

Wish me luck.
